I am the original owner of my Enshu machine, do I have to register this machine?
No, the machine is registered at the time of original installation. However, if the machine has been moved from its original location, the machine must be re-registered. The registration fee is waived if the machine remains within the same company and remains in the same country where it was originally installed.
Why do I have to register my pre-owned Enshu machine?
An ongoing problem in the world is weapons proliferation. Products, services and technical data delivered by Enshu may be subject to export controls or the trade laws of other countries. We can not export or re-export to entities on the most current U.S. export exclusion lists or to any country subject to U.S. embargo or terrorist controls as specified in the U.S. export laws. We can not use or provide products, services, or technical data for nuclear, missile, or chemical biological weaponry end uses.
Why do I have to pay a fee to register my pre-owned machine?
The registration fee covers three details. First, you will receive a complete set of Enshu manuals for the machine. This may include electrical, operation, maintenance, and parts. Having these manuals will save you time and allow you to fully utilize your machine. Second, it covers our time to update our CRM database and records. Third, it entitles you to limited telephone and email support system for as long as you own the machine.
What does limited telephone and email support mean?
It means that if you have a problem with your Enshu, please call. We will assist you over the phone with troubleshooting. If it is a control or drive problem, we will direct you to the proper people. If we have a maintenance procedure that will help, we will happy to fax or email it to you. If we cannot resolve your problem in a reasonable amount of time, we will offer the option of paid service with an Enshu Engineer or a dealer representative.
