Stand Alone
The entire lineup of Enshu Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers is fully capable as stand alone machines, but are engineered to be “system ready” in case the need for expansion arises.
All Enshu Machining Centers are born in the computer using the most advanced CAD techniques available today. Designs are exhaustively refined and re-refined, with entire machines from castings to sub-systems finite-element and failure-mode analyzed for maximum dynamic performance and system durability. In addition, time-optimization (often in 1/10 second increments) of systems such as drives, motion systems, pallet changers and tool delivery systems ensures maximum spindle utilization. All of this takes place before any metal is poured or component design finalized.
Of course, at the heart of every Enshu machine is the spindle: high-torque, dual-range AC units advanced and refined to withstand the most rigorous demands. They are designed and built with multiple sets of over-sized ceramic bearings, chilled for thermal stability, lubricated for long life and protected by an air curtain.
The greatest advantage of Enshu machines is that no shortcuts are taken in any aspect of machine design or manufacture. When every system is refined, and when every component is perfectly matched and the machine is built, it is put to work in one of the most demanding environments in the world: building engines and engine components in the Enshu factory. Only after it passes this strict testing is a new machining center model released to the market. |
